Haven’t had much sleep this past week due to all the addictive zombie killing…
This past week I’ve spent a majority of my time split between Fallout 3 and Left 4 Dead. It’s funny how big Left 4 Dead has gotten on my friends list. Two nights this week I signed on and the other 7-8 people that were online on my list were all playing Left 4 Dead. Talk about positive word of mouth. It can’t get any more positive than that!
It’s funny – I’ve had a pretty tiring week all week because I’ve been up late each night playing Left 4 Dead. While I’ve been having a pretty good time, my wife is not happy that she’s been going to sleep by herself several nights this past week. The game is actually giving me somewhat fond memories of my World of Warcraft days where we’d be up late raiding for loot. Instead, here were four of us devising strategies to surviving the final act in each chapter. I realize that it’s easy to just search online for solutions that other people have come up with, but I actually enjoy that we have been figuring out our own strategies to getting through. It’s like figuring out how to deal with raid bosses before a fully published walkthrough comes out.
