Leveling Down

Alas…

I booted up the last mission of Halo Wars Sunday night, planning to cap off a fun week in gaming with a triumphant victory over the Covenant and Flood. After being treated to an exciting cut scene introducing the mission, my friend and I were prepared to finish the fight. But really, a picture is worth a thousand words. I should have taken the picture with my new phone, which I needed to get because my phone got run over by a car yesterday. All in all, not a good weekend for me and technology. Not as many significant deals this week on the 360 or PS3 end most likely because gamers are caught up in Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter IV, Halo Wars, or Killzone 2 for the time being. If you got in on the $20 gift card with Resident Evil 5 purchase this past weekend, it’d be a great time this week to go back to Toys R Us and take advantage of the B1G1 $20 off on $39.99 or higher games. Amazon has some pretty good Wii titles on sale this week such as Geometry Wars: Galaxies and de Blob. I’m considering the Unreal Tournament III on Steam deal this week…tried downloading it for the free weekend this past weekend and it was pretty enjoyable and it’s only a little over $10.
