Not me or anyone I know – just some kid using the Dell Inspiron Mini 9
I recently purchased a Dell Mini 9 netbook computer. I don’t personally own a laptop, but felt that the Mini 9 was a great bargain for what it is.
I got all of this for under $250 including tax/shipping:
- Microsoft XP Home Edition
- 1 GB RAM
- 8 GB Solid State Drive
- Intel Atom Processor (1.6GHz)
- 8.9″ screen (1024×600)
- Wireless 802.11g Mini Card
- 4 cell 32W battery (4 hours)
- 3 USB ports
- SD slot
- VGA out
- 2.28 lbs (and about half the size of a sheet of paper)
It’s been invaluable for travel, but with this site being a gaming blog, how does it handle gaming? Read on for my thoughts on both.
