The AI for your Sims is definitely terrible and I do wish it was more realistic so you didn't have to control every aspect of them. I agree with ya Bloosoda - it's like the Sims won't go use the bathroom or take a shower until they can barely make it, thus becoming very unhappy. And it gets worse when I created both my wife and myself in the game. The Sims has just never been my thing, if I wanted to live life, I'd go out there and do it. (Good thing I'm a nerd though! XD) And yeah, I also found it VERY annoying to have to command your Sim to go "get some food" or "use the bathroom" or things like that.
