Here's my thought process on backlog and buying games, etc. I have two different stacks of games: one that is basically single player backlog games and one that is multiplayer games. I would argue that playing online with friends is more enjoyable than playing a game solo, so I would play the hot online game with friends over some backlogged single player game any day. I'd only return to my single player backlog if there wasn't any big multiplayer game out. And dude Borderlands is made for you since we're cut from basically the same cloth. I'm sure you can imagine how fun it is for four of us to work together and take down big bosses and sharing the epic loot that we're rewarded with. Skills + teamwork + rewards = complete gaming nirvana for gamers like us. How could you be playing Half-Life 2 single player when we're starting up Borderlands?!
