some kid on my friends list has been playing since Friday and I think a gamestop in NJ sold it to him. i heard that gamestop went ahead and broke street date this weekend in several places, as this was a company wide thing. it was probably their only way to "combat" against the crazy $20 deals that places like Amazon and Walmart were offering in combination with other smaller retailers already having broken street date. so if you were a mw2 buyer, your options were, get it early for $60, or get it on release date for $40. gamestop was going to give it to you on release date for $60, so who would do that?
Oh, how I envy the people who got their hands on the game early. Granted, there probably aren't many people on LIVE, and more than likely none of their friends have the game for them to play with, but still. I envy them.
