Whenever sidebar is on, I can't see what I type in the middle area. Can you have the forum textbox resize if the sidebar is present? Or…get rid of the sidebar completely for the forum? I find this as a hindrance. I can't be the only one who thinks this. This is mainly to increase ease of use.
Also, for some reason, I can't seem to have my login saved. Everytime I come back to the forum, I have to log in again and again. Anyone else have this happen ?

ya i definitely see the issue with the right sidebar blocking part of the forum. i'm going to see what i can do to get rid of the sidebar on the forum page, but it requires me to play with the code so bear with me on it a little while longer while i try to pinpoint the issue.
as for the login – i don't know too much about it. i think if you're simply logged in and have your login saved on the blog's login, you shouldn't ever have to login at the forum. have you tried logging in for the blog and had it save your login there?
Not sure. It seems like with each computer reboot, I gotta re-login. Granted, I may have 'public' privacy settings on because I'm frequently not at home.
ok i was able to modify the code such that whenever you go to the forums, the sidebar is hidden by default. hopefully this poses as a good enough solution, as I am not sure if I can do much more!

You can turn the right sidebar off if you want to have more room for the content (especially useful when viewing the forums) by hitting the tab at the top called "Sidebar Off".
